Why?

WHY ARE SMALL GROUPS IMPORTANT?

One of the core values at the Harvest is "Christianity is not a solitary affair, its a community event". God created us with the desire and need for community and intends for us to love one another and for our lives to touch each other through relationships. Our corporate services on Sunday are very important to our life as a church, but we believe that there is no better place to develop meaningful real relationships than in a small group. It is this environment of healthy and genuine relationships that encourage us in our understanding of God, our spiritual walk, and our growth as individuals.

There are a number of great benefits to joining a small group:

*You'll begin to feel like you're part of God's family (and not just a face in the crowd).

*You will have a place to discover and use your spiritual gifts.

*You'll begin to understand the Bible better in a Small Group (there's nothing like the
                              chance to ask questions).

*Prayer will become more meaningful to you (your friends will be praying for you and with
                              you).
                            *
You will not have to go through struggles alone.
*You will grow spiritually faster in a group than alone.

*You will develop leadership skills you never knew you had.
