WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?
Small groups at the Harvest are gatherings of at least three people that provide a great opportunity to develop a network of friends; to share personal concerns, joys and interests; and to use your gifts and talents to glorify God. The aim of small groups is to develop purposeful relationships through which fellowship, discipleship and evangelism take place.
There is no registration fee. However, there may be a fee for materials (e.g. a book or study guide) used in some small groups.
ARE ALL SMALL GROUPS THE SAME?
Absolutely not!! Different groups work for different people. Individuals form groups around particular interests, choosing subjects that appeal them and others in our congregation. Our goal is to have small groups that offer a multitude of topics and interests. Some small groups may include worship, Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Others may form around common interests such as athletics, hobbies, exercise, specific studies of a book of the Bible or many other possibilities. Some may form around serving the community, parenting, budgeting or learning a new skill. The small groups offered reflect the people at Bahamas Harvest Church and continue to change and develop with the interests and needs of the people.
