Salvation

The Bible states in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.”  Salvation is not earned by good works or community status.  It is a free gift that God gave to us and we must accept that gift by faith.

Our God loves us so much that He sacrificed His only Son, Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life on earth and then hung on the cross for the penalty of our sins.  Jesus Christ paid a price He did not owe because we owed a price we could not pay.

By praying this prayer, you are inviting Jesus Christ to come into your heart as your Savior and the Lord of your life.

“Dear God,

I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life.  . Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again.  I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life.
