In 1992, Pastor Mario enrolled in the Pastoral Studies Program at World Harvest Bible College, Columbus, Ohio. In 1993, he married Erika Lloyd and together they completed Bible college in 1995.
On Sunday, July 16th, 1995, Pastor Rod Parsley, their covering pastor, commissioned them with these prophetic words: Integrity will be the Key; Unction will be the Demonstration; Glory will be the Reward; and Harvest will be the Increase.
Bahamas Harvest Church (BHC) was birthed on Sunday, November 19th, 1995 in the Seagrapes Shopping Center. In 1998, Pastor Mario was appointed as a WHCMF Regional Director and he also led a national outcry against the homosexual agenda that challenged family values.
In February 2002, BHC moved into a 9,600 square feet family worship facility and in 2004, Harvest Generation released their first worship CD entitled "Rejoice". In 2006, Harvest Kids, a day care and preschool, was birthed.
Due to the steady growth, spiritually and numerically, BHC completed a major renovation in 2008 to include two additional sanctuaries for 1st - 6th Grade Students and 7th - 12th Grade Students. Each age group: adults, teenagers, children and infants enjoy age appropriate ministry in their own environments each week. The new 15,00 facility also includes a Mother's Room where nursing mothers can enjoy privacy in a cozy atmosphere and stay connected to The Worship Experience via a closed circuit TV monitor.
