In our society, just about anywhere you go; you can hear people talking about hard times and having to make sacrifices to attain some life long goal. For most Bahamians, the concept of saving is foreign due to ever increasing bills, living from pay cheque to pay cheque and putting money in pockets that have holes. Just when you thought that all the bases were covered, someone introduces another playing field. You put one fire out, one right after another but yet does the temperature ever cool down? If you can relate to this, then you will have no problem relating to the Israelites in Leviticus chapter 25.

 

 
If God Hadn't Wanted To Heal You,…Then He Shouldn't Have

If God hadn't wanted to heal you then He shouldn't have but the Truth of the matter is this, He already did. The cross at Calvary served as a double cure, it eradicated sin and it terminated sickness. Just as much as sin is not a part of God's plan for your life, so it is that sickness is also not a part of God's plan for your life. God wants to heal all of us from all our sicknesses and all our diseases.

 

 
Is Tithing For Me?

Have you ever wondered where this principle of tithing originated and why is it practiced throughout the Christian community worldwide? I have and for a long time practiced it without really knowing its significance.
The first time the word tithe is ever mentioned in the bible is in the book of beginnings, Genesis. Here Abram, whose name was later changed to Abraham, gave a tithe of his spoil to a priest by the name of Melchizedek, King of Salem, which means King of Righteousness and Peace, Genesis 14:17-20.
